Die Rentschler Biotechnologie GmbH ist ein international führendes unabhängiges Dienstleistungsunternehmen mit mehr als 35 Jahren Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Herstellung qualitativ hochwertiger Proteinwirkstoffe aus Zellkulturen. Als Biotech-Pionier erhielt Rentschler 1983 als weltweit erstes Unternehmen die Marktzulassung für ein Interferon-Medikament.

Derzeit arbeiten 600 Spezialisten an der Entwicklung, Produktion und Zulassung von Biopharmazeutika nach internationalem GMP-Standard. In zehn GMP-Produktionslinien mit Bioreaktoren von 30, 50, 250, 500, 1.000 und 2.500 L Arbeitsvolumen werden Arzneimittel für klinische Studien der Phasen I bis III und für die Marktversorgung hergestellt.

Darüber hinaus bietet die Rentschler Biotechnologie auch Zulassungsberatung, Proteinanalytik, Qualitätskontrolle und die aseptische Abfüllung in Vials und Fertigspritzen an.
